How does Medicare work with Tricare?

Tricare is available to military retirees and their families. When a Tricare member becomes Medicare age, they are required to have both A and B of Medicare.
With this coverage, Medicare pays primary and Tricare pays secondary. The coverage is great, an you don't necessarily need anything else.
However, many Medicare Advantage plans offer extra benefits on top of Tricare without sacrificing any of the medical and prescription benefits you're already receiving.
Some of the benefits that plans offer include a reduction of the Part B Premium, Dental, Transportation, Over-the-Counter credits, and more!
Our team is knowledgeable in working with veterans and Tricare recipients.
Things to Consider

-
Are my doctors on base or off base?
-
Will I still have a nationwide network?
-
Can I still get my medications through Tricare?
-
Will this reduce the amount I pay for Part B of Medicare?
